How to book your ferry trip to Corsica from Marseille?

Take a ferry from Marseille to Corsica
As when booking flights or other public transport, it is recommended to buy your ticket several weeks in advance if you can. Booking a ticket is easy.

Go to the Direct Ferries website and:

  • Enter your holiday dates for the return trip from Marseille to the desired destination in Corsica.
You will also be asked for the desired times, the number of passengers, the possible number of animals, as well as the type, make and model of your vehicle if you are travelling with one.

    • Compare the different schedules and prices offered by the Direct Ferries search engine

Be careful, prices can quickly fluctuate upwards, especially when summer is approaching and places are scarce. Currently, prices for the summer of 2019 exceed 500 €. During the summer season or if you do it in advance, the prices are more reasonable and can go below 300 €.

    • Choose the desired options for your crossing

Whether it is your seat, your type of cabin (an optional option, but without sleeping on deck or in the ship’s room), or if you want a meal and priority boarding. These options logically impact the price upward.

    • Subscribe, if you wish, to a cancellation insurance

It is recommended to subscribe to cancellation insurance free of charge, for €9.75 per passenger. Changes and cancellations are frequent and with the standard ticket, the modification fee can be as high as 35 €.

Note: On the Corsica Linea and La Méridionale sites, the rates are essentially the same as on Direct Ferries.
