From Lindenhof, you can also enjoy an incredible view of the city center’s most impressive historical landmarks: the Grossmünster, the town hall, or the Limmat river. Zurich’s Lindenhof district is a great place to stay in Zurich if you’re looking for a peaceful and quiet environment in the city center. Here too, because of its very central position, this district offers rather expensive accommodation rates.

Zurich West

Head west from Zurich, to stay in the trendiest and most fashionable part of the city. Formerly devoted to industry, this district has for the last few years given way to art, culture, design, and architecture. Don’t forget to stop by the Im Viadukt Market, a vast covered market featuring a blend of delicatessens, trendy cafés, nightclubs, fashion boutiques and art galleries. It will obviously be cheaper to stay in Zurich in the western part rather than in the center, however, keep in mind that it is still Zurich: accommodation will remain relatively very high. So make sure to look for alternatives to the hotel if you want to stay in this area.

Seefeld
