Málaga is the second largest city in Andalusia and the sixth largest in Spain. The city is distinguished by its commercial port but especially by its sunshine representing almost 90% of the days of the year. In Malaga, visit the famous Picasso Museum, which includes more than 200 works by Malaga’s native artist, as well as 800 books and 12,000 documents. The city also includes the Alcazaba fortress and the Cathedral of the Incarnation, both essential visits to the Andalusian city. Stroll to Gibralfaro Castle to get a view of the whole city, its arenas, and the coastline. Malaga is a good base (or stopover) for visiting the Costa del Sol.
